It was the replacement holiday for Awal Muharram.....since I had to send wifey to work anyway, I decided to do a walkabout...hoping to get some interesting subjects for my sites....

There's always the first time...and this is mine for the mentioned title above..

Saturday: 13th of January 2007 - Flash Photography for Beginners - know your flash. Strictly for newbies.
Venue: Studio 807, 8th Floor, North Block, The Ampwalk, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
Time: 12 noon - 4 pm
Material: Technical notes with lighting diagrams and images of real world application in softcopy format. Bring a thumbdrive if you have one.
Miscellaneous: Light refreshment will be provided.
No restrictions on camera make, all are welcome.
Fees: RM180.00/pax
Workshop overview:
-What is flash?
-Understanding your flash gun
-Fill flash technique
-Mix lighting with flash
-Multiple flash set up on a budget (non CLS)
-Practical session with a model

Congkak Revisited

Been quite a while since we last went to our favorite picnic/ camping spot. This weekend we decided to go there. I bought a 6 men dome since the dome we hav ebeen using is already with Angah. The price of tents nowadays are ridiculously low though the quality could not be compared with the one we used lahhh......Saint Louis mari maaa, with 80% netting sure is nice to have in this kind of wheather.
Anyway, it is not about the equipment...what more important is the kids just love the stream and they spent hours in it...including little Aliya. This time around I did not get much opportunity to shoot - especially the babies in the water - because I decided I to spend time with them rather than taking photos of them, at least for this time.

But check out the R26 of Fernando Alonso....that's the most expensive Hotwheels I have ever bought....
